First Baptist Church of Bushnell’s Hope Ministries Center’s Mission Statement:

At Hope Ministries, we are dedicated to serving our community by assisting its members and sharing the Gospel of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Our mission is to ensure that no family in need within our community goes hungry. The mission of the thrift store is to fund the operating costs of our food pantry and other ministries that serve both our church and community.
 

As it is written in 1 John 3:17-18 (NIV): "If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
